École de la Cité is a school free of tuition, a public good. Every year, it trains 60 young adults from a diversity of backgrounds, with no previous diplomas required, for a career path in cinema. Graduate students have little difficulty finding work at the end of their studies. A donation of 25 000 € would finance the complete 2 year program for one student.
Make a donation
By making a donation to l’École de la Cité, you are financing the training of young adults who, for lack of financial support or aptitude to meet standard academic requirements, do not access other existing channels.
A donation of 12,500 € finances the tuition of a student for one year.
A donation of 5,000 € allows us to buy a digital camera,
A donation of 2,500 €camera lenses and optics,
A donation of 1,000 € a computer.
Your donation to l’École de la Cité entitles you to a tax reduction. For example, a donation of 100 € would only cost you 25 €. In fact, you can deduct 75% of your donation up to € 531 per year under income tax. Beyond that, your donation can be deductible up to 66%.
Becoming a partner
The School is funded by private partners and the CNC and Région Ile-de France support.
As privileged partners, all of our donors and contributors are associated and invited to events held by the School and those in general at la Cité du Cinéma; private screenings and other thematic events if the School organize them.
